Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce such as Frank’s RedHot
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped green onions or blue cheese crumbles for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
  • Fold in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  • Remove from oven and let it cool for 5 minutes.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions or blue cheese crumbles.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery, or crackers.

Notes

For a spicier dip, add extra buffalo sauce or a dash of cayenne pepper.
Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator, then baked when ready to serve.
