Garlic Parmesan Chicken and Potatoes – A Flavorful One-Pan Meal
Garlic Parmesan Chicken and Potatoes is a hearty and comforting one-pan dish featuring crispy chicken, tender potatoes, and a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.
Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, toss the halved potatoes with minced garlic, salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil.
Arrange the potatoes in the skillet and bake for 20 minutes.
In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Keep warm on low heat.
Remove the skillet with potatoes from the oven. Place the seared chicken back into the skillet.
Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the chicken and potatoes. Sprinkle additional Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake for another 15-20 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the potatoes are tender.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
