Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. If too dry, add 1 tbsp of milk.
Scoop dough into small balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are slightly golden. Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
For extra sweetness, drizzle with white chocolate or dust with powdered sugar before serving. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
