Instructions
Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
Add the peas to the boiling pasta water during the last minute of cooking. Drain, reserving some pasta water.
In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped garlic until fragrant.
Add the drained pasta and peas to the pan. Season with lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. If needed, add a little reserved pasta water.
Stir in the grated Parmesan and mix well.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
For a creamier version, add a splash of heavy cream or ricotta. Tastes great with crispy bread on the side!
