Ingredients
  

For the Dough:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water 110°F/45°C
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20 –25 slices pepperoni
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano optional
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Add olive oil, salt, and flour. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  • Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • Preheat Oven: Set to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
  • Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll the dough into a 12-inch circle.
  • Assemble the Pizza: Transfer dough onto parchment paper. Spread pizza sauce evenly, then top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices.
  • Bake: Place the pizza in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  • Serve: Sprinkle with oregano and red pepper flakes if desired. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, brush the crust with garlic butter before baking.
Use a pre-made pizza dough for a quicker version.
